Andrew G. (Andy) Khoury was born and raised in Longview, Texas. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude at Southern Methodist University, Mr. Khoury attended the Baylor University School of Law, graduating in 1994. In the fall of 1994, following a clerkship with a local law firm, he opened his own office in his hometown and since that time has represented individuals and businesses throughout east Texas.
His firm handles a broad range of litigation, ranging from serious auto accidents, wrongful death and other personal injuries to complex trusts and estates, as well as commercial and insurance matters. Additionally, Mr. Khoury has successfully briefed and argued numerous cases before both state and federal appellate courts.
Mr. Khoury previously served as President of the Gregg County Bar Association and as a member of the Judiciary Relations Committee of the State Bar of Texas. He also serves as a volunteer judge for the Longview Teen Court, and formerly served as president of its Board of Directors. In addition to being involved with numerous local civic and charitable organizations, Mr. Khoury serves on the boards of three committees of the Longview Chamber of Commerce. In 2006, 2008 and again in 2010, he chaired its Tort Reform Task Force, which was responsible for developing and advocating business-oriented legislative priorities.
